Cabalen is a Capampangan Restaurant and cooks authentic Capampangan dishes. By the way, for those people who do not know, Capampangan is part of the Philippines which mean Pampanga. We use the word Kapampangan to describe the people who live in Pampanga.

 

In 1994 Calico Gaza established her first restaurant in San Fernando Pampanga Philippines. When the years passed by, Cabalen restaurant started getting bigger, and Calico decided to expand her restaurant in Canada.

 

Calico Gaza started to open her second and third restaurant in Winnipeg in 2000.

 

In 2003, Cabalen.cu got an award as a best Filipino food restaurant, since then Cabalen continues getting popular around the Canada.

 

Cabalen epitomizes excellent Filipino cuisine. What started out as a simple specialty food restaurant in Pampanga, Cabalen grew into what would become the best and most popular buffet restaurant in the Philippines. Serving good food over 21 years, the restaurant strives to keep its sense of consistency in every dish they offer by means of utilizing traditional Capampangan cooking methods, and straightforward service.

 

In 2010, she started to open her restaurant account on social media because she believes that social media will might support her to increase the people she's helping. In that way, she will fulfill the needs of people who're home sick.
